Employee Selected as CADCA Ambassador

jessica millerBluegrass.org is honored to confirm Jessica Miller has been selected as one of 18 National Coalition Institute Ambassadors for Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA)! 

The Ambassador Program is dedicated to increasing the number and diversity of young adult coalition leaders serving economically disadvantaged communities. The program will give Jessica extensive training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities with the objective of building her capacity to serve as a leader in the coalition field and to utilize this new capacity within bluegrass.org.

"[Jessica] is a perfect one to be accepted and bluegrass.org is proud of her participation," said Donna Wiesenhahn, Director of the bluegrass.org Prevention Center.

According to CADCA, "Since 1992 Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) has been training local grassroots groups, known as community anti-drug coalitions, in effective community problem-solving strategies, teaching them how to assess their local substance abuse-related problems and develop a comprehensive plan to address them. Today, CADCA is the nationís leading national drug abuse prevention organization, representing the interests of more than 5,000 community anti-drug coalitions in the country."[1]
