The following 20 measures have been accepted
by the Joint Commission for accreditation purposes in connection
with the ORYX® initiative. The first fifteen measures relate
to the behavioral healthcare clinical outcomes of children who
have been discharged from an out of home placement. The first
twelve measures relate to treatment effectiveness as indicated
by the outcome at the time of discharge. The next three measures
relate to treatment effectiveness as indicated by the child's
behavior during the first four months after discharge. The physical
management and seclusion measures relate to resident safety during the behavioral
healthcare process for children in the facility during the reported
month.
