At Your First Appointment
Plan on 1 to 2 hours for your first visit. Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. You will need to bring your insurance card or medical card, ID, and proof of guardianship. If your child is taking any medications, please bring a list.
How Long Does Therapy Last?
Parents and caregivers are involved in the decision-making process about services for your child. You are a part of your child’s progress. The length of treatment varies from child to child. At Bluegrass, we believe in helping your family work towards treatment goals so you can maintain the process of recovery in your own home. Although full recovery can occur anywhere from a couple of sessions of therapy to a few months, the vast majority of people who are treated experience significant improvement within the first one to three sessions.
We look forward to working with you to develop an individualized plan to meet the needs of your family.
