Welcome to the Bluegrass Academy. We are the training department at Bluegrass!

Bluegrass Academy offers a range of classes and learning opportunities for behavioral health professionals. From continuing education courses that meet state licensing board requirements to state approved curriculums for targeted case managers, community support associates and peer support specialists, we offer options to fit your needs and schedule. Law for Kentucky LPCC

Tuesday, March 6, 2018, 1351 Newtown Pike, Lexington, KY, Building 3, Newtown Room

This training is facilitated by an LPCC and meets the requirements for continuing education by the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. LPCC’s and LPCA’s will learn about the Kentucky laws and regulations pertaining to their license and how the Kentucky Licensed Professional Counseling Board operates. This includes licensing requirements, definitions, educational requirements, supervision and supervisor requirements, and codes of conduct.

Adult Peer Support Specialist Training

Bluegrass is approved by the Kentucky Department of Behavioral Health to present Adult Peer Support Specialist Training. This is a 30-hour program offering curriculum required to become a certified KY Adult Peer Support Specialist. All application materials and fees are due by March 3, 2018.
